The Tial MV-S External Wastegate is a premium motorsport component designed for extreme boost, high exhaust temperatures, and limited installation space. Built entirely from high-grade stainless steel and advanced alloys, this wastegate delivers exceptional reliability, precise boost control, and long service life under the most demanding conditions.

Thanks to its ultra-compact design, the MV-S measures just 3.7 inches in height, making it ideal for tight engine bays where space is limited. Despite its compact size, it offers outstanding thermal stability and flow performance.

High-Temperature Materials for Maximum Durability

Every major component of the MV-S wastegate is engineered to withstand extreme heat and pressure:

• Valve and valve body manufactured from a NiCrFe 347SS-based alloy, ensuring superior resistance to heat fatigue and corrosion

• Valve bushings made from Nitronic 60 stainless steel for excellent wear resistance

• Actuator spring constructed from 17-7 PH stainless steel, providing consistent pressure even at temperatures up to 900°F (483°C)

• Reinforced actuator diaphragm using Nomex-reinforced silicone, ideal for sustained high-temperature operation

As a result, this wastegate outperforms many competing designs in both durability and long-term consistency.

Integrated Actuator Cooling System

To further enhance reliability, the MV-S features an integrated actuator cooling system:

• Two -4 AN water ports allow coolant to circulate through the actuator

• This reduces heat exposure in extreme racing conditions

• The system has minimal impact on the vehicle’s cooling circuit

• Ports can be securely sealed if cooling is not required

Each unit is factory pressure-tested to ensure leak-free operation.

Precision CNC V-Band System

The MV-S uses Tial’s CNC-machined V-band clamps and flanges, all produced in-house for perfect fitment. Therefore, installation is quick, secure, and repeatable.

Racing Valve Stem Technology
